Chirping

    Hi all
    I’ve got a chirping coming from the bike every 30 seconds or so. I’ve replace the fob battery, no dice

    What don't I know? Any ideas?

    2007 heritage.

    Just taking the piss mate, sounds alarm related. Set the alarm, put the remote in a location several meters away and rock the bike or switch the ignition on. It will usually chirp several times before it goes into alarm mode. Let it go to alarm , switch it all down , go get the fob and repeat the process.

    Thanks Pauly. Yeah tried that.  The alarms working. The fob is turning off etc. 
    Been told it could be the siren battery. Changing that now.

    Well you live and learn. Siren battery??? did not know we had one to replaced.

    Yeah it’s a rechargeable 9v. Had no clue either.

    Ready for a laugh???
    So after Going to the garage and hearing th bike beeping. Like the alarm or something. Every 30 seconds. 

    I got the fob and started it. 

    Still happening. 

    I replaced the battery in the fob.  

    Still happening. 

    I unplugged the battery in the bike. 

    Still happening. 

    I tried enter my code. 

    Still happening. 

    I took the battery from the siren out and replaced it. 

    Still happening. 

    Checked the battery in the siren again, broke the clip for the battery. 

    Still happening. 

    Found out we need to replace the battery in the garage fire alarm.
