What 2 up seats would you guys recommend? I’ve looked at a few and their prices seems really damn high if it comes with a sissy bar and what not

Depends what bike you bought and how big your two up asses are and for a lot of folks, what it looks like.
Some two up touring seats like the Sundowner for say a Fatbob or Wideglide, are comfy but push the rider forward to give the passenger more room, so it changes your riding position.
Some bikes need a whole seat, others you just add a larger pillion seat and keep the rider seat.

Whatever you get be careful on fitment, take the bike in, borrow a test seat, pretty much all dealers have them, that way you'll know what works for you and importantly, what fits the bike.  Here in SA a couple of years ago the dealers didn't have the loan seats and I ended up purchasing 4 HD seats one after another that were specified by HD for my bike but did not fit, took a while to get my money back from too.

Cheers ratbob, I'll have to speak to them at the shop and see.

How about an inspection for rego with loud pipes? do Harley shops tend to give you the good old "those weren't on there when we checked it"?

Not sure where you are but here in SA the dealers do the rego in house. Unless the bike’s stock you can pretty much count on it being a target for noise violation, in SA they’ve been known to defect bikes solely on the basis they have say Vance and Hines pipes, with no regard to their noise level. Just the fact that they’re non stock was enough.
