Been working on my bike for the last few months, almost there! So far, Vance & Hines Blackout 2-1 Pipe, Custom Shaped and Upholstered 42 Seat, 10.5" Burly Slammer Rear Springs, White Walls Avon Tyres, HD Drag Bar, DIY Chopped Bar Mount & Dummy Lights, Side Mounted Speedo, HD Black Dimple Derby & Inspection Covers, Flipped Mirrors, Diamond Black HD Gas Cap, and a couple other small tweaks here and there. About to get to work on painting my helmet, and doing some custom artwork to be laser etched on the derby cover.

Don't know if you're on here still - but this is a great looking bike... will be taking some inspiration from it for sure.

Is that an eBay chin spoiler?  How do you find the mini-grenades?

I can’t wait. I’ve run through multiple auto tunes and it runs real sweet (up to the prescribed 3500rpm)

In street trim for a frozen weekend in Boyup Brook a couple of months ago.

Loaded with food, fuel, water and camping gear, and fitted with Pirelli MT60 ADV tyres for a trip through the Pilbara July/August 2019.  This is on the way home, stopped in Carnarvon.

Did you find you needed the tyres?

    Good stuff!

I had the current road tyres on the bike and swapped them for the ADV tyres for the trip, then swapped back when the ADV tyres were worn out.  On the gravel the MT60 tyres were amazing. On the bitumen they were also really good - although I didn't do much wet weather riding.  When the current road tyres are bald I'll go back to the MT60 again.

Good to know, I was on a ride yesterday, we had a lot of rain a month ago, and a mate was saying no wear at all on his adventure tyres in the mud, he thinks the mud cools them. but on dry gravel dirt & rock they wear faster.
you got it set up well for trips.

Thanks mate, it's a great touring machine.  I got about 10,000km from them, 2000km on gravel. The rear MT60RS comes in a reinforced option, so wore really well. The MT60 front probably another 2,000km left on it but I ditched it anyway.

    She’s a long, slow burn.
Came to me dressed up like a wanna be Softail. I’ve still got a few things on the list, but at least it looks and rides like a Sporty again!
