    Cheers boys! I’m happy with the way it’s going, it’s been a slow process. The tank on there is a loaner so I’m looking for one similar to replace it. 
    If anyone’s got one they’d part with, give me a shout.

    Still looks pretty good even with 170,000km on the her. 2008 1200 custom.

    Downside was the battery placement. Do Motorcross bikes even have batteries?. I doubt it.
    Oh well, not to worry, at least it gave the dad something to do rather than dying which has to be a good thing.

    If you don’t like Batteries could fit a Magnito, but seem to be able to get simple ignitions with adjustable advance. But think your right the battery add’s a bit of unwanted weight to an MX er, but these boys done a pretty good job of it!!
