Rmac, you have the 2 brothers 2-1 pipe, not the Bassani Road rage 3. Hate to be the bearer of bad news there. Awesome bike you have though.

    this is the Bassani RRIII

ahh gotcha, stupid me the wheels/rear guard are completely different haha. I'll shut up now :)

You like the pipe Rmac? I am seriously considering one of the FXDLS's and the RR3 from all reports looks/performs excellent.

I can't afford to do the 117 kit, but I think the 110 should keep me entertained for a while.

Harley Heaven Sydney have a 117 demo bike I can try for size/handling/comfort but want 34k for a bike with 7000km's on it.

Just bought one boys, the trade in on my sporty was too good to say no to (I thought they would offer fuck all)

Test rode one and fell in love, the torque is infectious. My sporty was quick, but this has BALLS. Sort of like turbo 4 vs Big Block V8.

Ended up been a 10k changeover, including Bassani RR3 and Flush mount LED filler cap.

Couldn't stretch for the 117. Might do cam/comp/heads in the future when the wallet cools down.

Can't wait to pick it up. :)

Thanks lads. Getting it from Frasers Homebush. Happy with the service and very happy with the trade in. The bike I traded in was quite unique and well built so they money they offered for it was reasonable.

Lofty - can we see a photo with the Rush pipes on your LRS? Are they much louder than the crushers?

Lofty what numbers did yours make on Dyno?

I'll hire out the local and see what I can come up with 3-4 hours. Seen 98/115 with the RR3 as only mod.

That stupid SE ventilator will be going in the bin too, looks like a donkeys cock flopping near your leg.

nice, pretty good for some slip-ons and fresh engine :)

I'll just flash a Fuel Moto tune and autotune a little until first service then wind the wick up a little.

Picked her up yesterday, Sad to let the sporty go, was a fantastic bike that never let me down and went like a shower of shit. I am very interested to see what they try and sell it for.

FXDLS was presented very poorly, paw prints all over tins, dusty, and the big buck LED flush mount fuel caps/guage doesn't work for shit.

Clutch was so far out of whack you had to pull it to the grip to engage the clutch, shift peg was nearly vertical. Fuck me dead. I'll be taking it back. Also the breaks are mushy as but that should come good from all reports.

Bassani RR3 sounds amazing, I rode home with stock tune in it and was very lean, but just babied it the 22km home. Wired up the powervision and flashed in a Fuel Moto Map. Instantly the bike ran much better, the flat spot about 2.5k rpm gone, smooth pull through out. The increased limiter makes it was better. The stock bikes limiter kicks in way too early and hard.

Hit the local industrial estate that was vacant at 4pm on a saturday and did some Auto tuning and logging, filled most of the VE cells and reflashed 3 times. A lot smoother and runs a lot cooler.

This bike seems to have a shitload of compression braking compared to all my other bikes, I don't mind it at all.

Overall, stoked on the purchase, let the mods begin <img src=" border="0" src="/DesktopModules/NTForums/themes/_default/emoticons/smile.gif" />

    New and old steeds.

Got to piss off those reflectors, pipe looks good!

Powervision routed from Fusebox, under seat, under tank and mounted to bars, came up neat.

    Look's good Brash!!

I'm very old school when it comes to MC's!! still love Carb HD's, But if i bought a New Bike the LR S would be at the top of a short list of bikes to test ride !!

The engine braking it indication of Bulk Torque not Hi Comp, i love hi Toque!! It's Torque you feel not HP. if i get one will go 117". Brash do you think you will take it to the Drag strip after it's run in?

Also another thing i would do if i got another dyna would be fit a stablizer to restrict forward to rear rubber mount movement, what ever the aftermarket call it, but could probably make one.

how much do they weight with fuel in them?

Definitely keen to take it to the drags. I've seen stockers doing low 12's but I'd be happy with something like that considering I've never taken a bike down the strip.

The torque is awesome. Any gear at any revs it just has pickup.

I think they are 300kg ready to run. Interestingly the stock pipe weighs a ton and the bassani is real light.

Haha cow has been telling me to go for ages on my sporty. Reckons that had a low 12 in it but I don't think I had the skills to get it there.

The man can talk the brown off a dog. But nice guy. I'll take the fxdls to him soon enough.

OK holy shit this bike is amazing, took it through the Royal National Park here in Sydney which is my local set of twisties, I've had this bike 2 days and was way faster, confident and comfortable then any other bike I've taken through there. My mate on his sportsbike was even shocked how fast this thing goes from corner to corner.

New tune is night and day different, happy to pass it on if you run powervision.

    I'm in love haha.

Brakes are strong but mushy at the lever, from all reports on the US forums they come good after approx. 500-800km's.

I adjusted the clutch freeplay and shift lever position to my preference, way better now. The 6 speed on this is super slick.

Only issue is the Flush mount LED fuel cap thing is up the creek, shows proper amount of fuel on startup then goes to 1 dot, then sporadically goes from full to empty.

Not a major issue, but I paid nearly $300 for those things so want it to work properly.
